Are you ready to start your musical journey with the violin? I specialize in teaching beginner students, helping them develop a solid foundation in technique, musicality, and enjoyment. Whether you're just starting or already have some experience, the personalized lessons I offer will help you progress at your own pace.
In our violin lessons, my goal is to help you grow as a musician at your own pace, while building a solid foundation of skills that will set you up for long-term success. Here’s what you can expect:
Personalized Learning: I tailor each lesson to meet your individual needs and goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or an intermediate student, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Proper Technique: We’ll focus on the fundamentals—how to hold the violin, bow, and maintain proper posture. A strong technical foundation is essential for playing smoothly and avoiding bad habits.
Music Theory Basics: I’ll introduce you to the basics of music theory, like reading music, understanding rhythms, and recognizing key signatures. This will help you not only play songs, but also understand how music works!
Ear Training: Developing your ear is crucial for becoming a well-rounded musician. We’ll work on exercises to help you recognize pitches, intervals, and rhythms, which will improve your playing and musical intuition.
A Fun, Supportive Environment: Learning an instrument should be enjoyable! I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere, either in person or online, where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of your learning process.
Each lesson will build on what you've learned, with plenty of opportunities for practice and improvement. Whether you’re looking to play your favorite songs or develop your skills for the long term, I’m here to support you every step of the way!

Yes, you'll need to have access to a violin in order to practice between lessons. If you're unsure about which violin to purchase or rent, I can offer advice on getting started with a good, affordable option.
No problem at all! My main focus is in teaching beginners, and I’ll guide you through all the basics—starting with how to hold the violin and bow, reading music, and simple songs.
While my main focus is on beginner students, I do offer lessons for intermediate players as well. However, since I’m still a student myself, I prefer to meet with intermediate students first for a brief assessment. This allows me to evaluate whether I can provide the right guidance based on your current level and goals.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. In this case, I can either issue a refund or help you reschedule the lesson. If you're feeling sick or unable to attend in person, I can provide a video lesson or offer the option for a video call lesson as an alternative.
To schedule your first lesson, reach out over email. After that, we will use Fons for scheduling and payments.
Yes, you will need some beginner violin books for our lessons. Once you've decided to start taking lessons, I can assist you in selecting and purchasing the right books to match your skill level and learning goals.
